Womxn's March Denver is hosting a FREE virtual panel discussion with local leaders to go deeper in conversations with community partners to listen and learn while uplifting Black voices. Hear leading members of Denver's Black community exploring current key issues, including steps toward equity, police relations and how to better position our allies to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Genene Duran, the new Dean of Health at Denver’s Emily Griffith Opportunity School and Board Member with Womxn’s March Denver. Registrants will receive the event Zoom link after registration in Eventbrite, and will have an opportunity to submit questions to panelists.
Womxn’s March Denver recognizes our role and responsibility to womxn and non-binary people of color. To ensure that we address the disparities impacting our communities, we are committed to doing anti-racist work. This event will also kickoff the launch of our digital toolkit called #Vote2Vent, meant to motivate and inspire folks during the 12-weeks leading to the critical November elections. Join us!
