ELECTIONS IN OUR ​DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC STATEMENT​ ​ 

Womxn’s March Denver stands with the results of our free and fair elections across the United States

​​What we witnessed on January 6, 2021 was an attack on our country, on our people, brought on by a sitting president who refuses to accept that millions of us turned out to stand with and for each other and support President-Elect Joe Biden by overwhelming margins.

​This is what terrorism looks like; it is domestic terrorism inside our own borders: an angry mob of armed white people inside our Capitol, threatening our government, including the very GOP leaders who are complicit in this attack. This is happening because of the encouragement of some GOP members and the silence of others who enabled lies about this election in order to undermine the will of the people and desperately attempt to hold onto power they clearly do not deserve.

Our elections have been deemed free and fair by dozens of credible sources and legal challenges, and thousands of citizens who worked tirelessly to maintain a secure process as well as manually counting votes to maintain integrity. 
 
We stand with the integrity of the results of our elections, and protecting our democratic republic.
